Destination…

I was watching an interview with Barbara Brown Taylor and she mentioned her resistance to the term “journey.”  It resonated with me in that the term journey supposes a destination somewhere in the future but I am, at every moment, at a destination.  At every point in my life I am…in that moment…I am.  We are not promised the future.  We only have this point in time.

I look at the many points I’ve experienced and know there were many times I could have died.  I came very close so I have had to throw off fear of death in order to live.

I’m not certain what my point is.  Just jotting a note as I’m sailing along…
