Fear: A Necessary Emotion…

The new age tells me I should have no fear. Anyone who tells me I should have no fear does not know the nature of the work of the shaman. There is fear every time I journey, every time I work in trance. There has to be some level of fear to respect the power of this work as I may not come back.
